St Patrick’s Day Celebration in Chicago and the tradition of turning the Chicago River Green is all new to Declan!We visited La Quinta for a long weekend and introduced Declan to the swimming pool. He became an expert in blowing bubblesWe visited the Living Desert and were thrilled to see two baby giraffes. They were only two months old and were having so much fun romping all over the place.We celebrated Easter with an egg hunt in Andy and Molly’s backyard! Declan had fun picking up the eggs when encouraged !Many family and friends gathered in San Diego for a celebration of life for my brother, Norman. We laid him to rest in the Pacific Ocean as is our family tradition. His wife, Pam and my sister, Lauralyn had organized a loving send off with hundreds of photos and lots of fond memories. I caught the train in San Juan Capistrano and headed up to Santa BarbaraIn Montecito, we relax, catch up, walk on the beach and enjoy children and grandchildren! The culinary delights created by Mary Gumport were the highlight of the trip!The days were filled with love and laughter and it was difficult to leave after such a short stay.
